Edward John McSheehy's Obituary
Edward John McSheehy, a native of St. Petersburg, passed away June 15, 2018. He was born and died at St. Anthony’s Hospital. He graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1958. He had a Bachelor of Music from University of Miami and was a member of Phi Mu Alpha. He also had a Master of Arts from the College of Education from University of South Florida.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Sheska McSheehy. Both were part of the first faculty who opened Seminole High School. He was their first band director. He later moved to guidance counseling at 16th Street Middle School and Azalea Middle School.
Edward and his wife Patricia would have been married 54 years on June 24th and have a loving daughter Roxanne McSheehy-Bruzas. They were at his bedside when he took his last breath.
Edward will have a private cremation with no services as he requested.
