Edward M. Hendry's Obituary
Edward M. "Ed" Hendry, 89, moved to his heavenly home on Thursday, February 25, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Connie, and his grandson Justin Ambrose. Ed was born in Perry, Florida but lived in St. Petersburg for most of his life. He served in the US Navy during World War II, and was owner of Hendry's Barber Shop in St. Petersburg for more than 50 years. He was a loving, kind and gracious man who lived his life well for the glory of God. He was a member of Grace Bible Church for 48 years where he served faithfully to impact many lives for Jesus Christ. He is survived by his four daughters Rosalind McLean (David), Renee Ambrose (Roger), Ramona Bishop (Rick), and Rosemary Lokers (Bob), 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters and many nieces and nephews. He loved well and was well loved.
Edward Hendry Memorial Service details are: Friday, March 11th at 11 am at Grace Bible Church 555 61st Street South, St. Petersburg.
