Edward Bernard Flanigan's Obituary
Edward Bernard Flanigan, 89, Pinellas Park, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
He was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Largo, where he worked with St. Vincent De Paul for several years then volunteered as the wheelchair “expert” at Northside Hospital in Pinellas Park. His passion in life was helping others in their time of need.
He was extremely proud of his entire family and if you met him once he considered you a friend for life!
He was preceded in death by infant Son Robert (Robbie) Flanigan, Grandson Matthew (Matt) Flanigan, first wife Catherine (Hackett) Flanigan and second wife Marjorie (Nichols) Flanigan.
He is lovingly missed by children Michael Flanigan (Nancy), Kevin Flanigan (Tracy), Tammy Cahill (Ted) and Tim Flanigan. Grandchildren Mikey Flanigan, Johnny Flanigan (Amber), AJ Flanigan (Alex), Tara Cahill, Travis Cahill, Tyler Cahill and Shannon Flanigan. Great Grandchildren Aiden Flanigan, Aubrey Flanigan and Elora Flanigan.
Step Children Christine Nichols Hardin Brady (Tom), Laurie Nichols Waldron (Phil), Greg Nichols (Julie) and Joey Nichols. Step Grandchildren Andrew Hardin, Tim Hardin (Kristi), Tyler Hardin (Jayne), Elizabeth Waldron, Caren Waldron Shore (Ryan), Scott Nichols (Ashley), Jeremy Carlson (Amber).
