Edith Lourdes Perez's Obituary
PEREZ, Edith Lourdes, 89, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away June 8, 2023. Edith was born in Cuba on February 11, 1934 to Cesar and Angelina (Gonzalez) Perez. She came to the United States in 1959 and then moved to St. Petersburg from Chicago in 1984. Edith was recently preceded in death by her brother, Cesar Perez and also by her twin brother, Emires Julio. She loved her nieces and nephews as her own. Survivors include her nieces, Mercedes (Scott) Steady and Vivian (Lee Burleson) Perez; nephews, Edelberto ‘Tico’ Perez, Julio Cesar (Suki) Perez, Julio Emires Perez, Mickey Perez, and Andy Perez; and many other extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, June 16 at Woodlawn Memory Gardens, St. Petersburg. A memorial Mass will be celebrated for both her and her brother, Cesar at 1:00PM on Saturday, June 17 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33609.
