Drayfus Barfield's Obituary
Drayfus Barfield, 84, of Kenansville, Florida formerly of Pinellas Park passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021.
Mr. Barfield was born March 4, 1937 in Bartow, Florida.
In his earlier years, Mr. Barfield worked in road construction and later worked for Pinellas County as a road inspector and was a Baptist by faith. He was a former member of the Elmer O. Smith Lodge #307 F&AM and a current member of Nitram Lodge #188 F&AM in St. Petersburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Mary Ethel Barfield and Eliza Mae Smith, brothers, Wayne Lee Barfield and Dewey Franklin Barfield.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Patricia Barfield; son, Jack Barfield; granddaughters, Amanda McConnell and Chelsea Stone; great grandsons, Colton McConnell and Quinlin McConnell; brother, Rayburn Barfield and sister, Joan Haven.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, St. Petersburg with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 11:30 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice.
