Ms. Dorothy M. "Dottie" Woods' Obituary
Dorothy M. “Dottie” Woods, 91, of Seminole, FL passed away peacefully on March 4th 2016. She was a loving, cherished, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, neighbor and friend. Born June 17, 1924 in Atlantic City New Jersey she moved to St. Petersburg in 1961 where she was an employee of St. Pete Beach Chamber of Commerce and Robinson’s department store. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. Dottie was the life of the party and a consummate caregiver.
She is survived by her loving daughter Carol Smith and son-in-law Bill; granddaughters, Patti Norris and Christi Scofield, and great grandsons Tyler and Owen Norris. She was predeceased by her husband Norman A. Woods and son Norman S. Woods.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am, Friday March 11th at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 9111 90th Ave N. Seminole, FL 33777.
