Dorothy Louise Reilly (née Waddell), 77, passed away on November 21, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born on May 1, 1947, in Newport, Tennessee, Dorothy was a cherished member of the community and a devoted matriarch to her family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Patrick Reilly Sr., and her son, James Reilly. She is survived by her loving sons, Thomas Patrick Reilly Jr. and Michael Owen Reilly (Carrie); grandchildren, Samantha Reilly and Julia Frost; and great-grandchildren, Faith, Grace, Avery, Rylen, Logan, Lycon, and Grayson.
Known for her passion for dance, Dorothy enjoyed many years twirling on dance floors and teaching her grandchildren the steps. Her love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life, especially in the joy she took in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s achievements and adventures.
Dorothy was a long-time member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, where she participated in various community and church events, embodying a life of service and faith.
A funeral service will be held in her honor on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 10 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Dorothy’s life will be celebrated by family, friends, and those touched by her warmth and kindness. Her legacy of love and dedication will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
