Dorothy Rood Holden's Obituary
Holden, Dorothy Rood, 87, of Largo, passed away on August 6, 2008 at Crystal Oaks of Pinellas. Born in Detroit, MI, she came here in 1961. She worked for Honeywell for almost 17 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Honey Bells. She was preceded in death by her first husband Jack Rood in 1976 and by her second husband, John Holden in 1996. She is survived by two children and their spouses, Sharron and Jim Sweat, Larry and Ruby Rood; (8) step-children, Pat (Dave) Barry, Peggy (John) Haris, Becky (Denny) Manning, John (Sammie) Holden Jr., Shirley (Paul) Collins, Paul Holden, Dennis (Lynn) Holden, and Larry Holden, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren. We loved your sweet and loving personality. You will be missed by all of us.
