Dorothy Hill Anderson's Obituary
Anderson, Dorothy Hill, 88, of Treasure Island, Fla. Graveside services are at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 25,2009, at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Fla. Mrs. Anderson died Feb. 19 at Camellia Gardens in Thomasville, Ga. Born Feb. 6, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Kirkland Hill. She was married for 66 years to Robert C. S. "Andy" Anderson, who preceded her in death. She was a Graduate of the University of Tampa and was a retired school teacher. She was a member of Pasadena Presbyterian Church. She taught Sunday school at First Presbyterian in Tampa and was a volunteer at All Children's Hospital Guild. She had a great sense of humor and was a very giving person. She loved life, nature and the beach. Survivors include daughter, Sharon Cernogorsky of Thomasville; sisters, Barbara Hansard of Pensacola, Fla. and Glena Shepherd of Bartow, Fla.; special friends, Joe Mills' family; many extended family and friends.
