Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother left her earthly body to be present with her family in heaven on July 1, 2008 peacefully at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Harold Larson of Reno, NV, her loving husband of 58 years, Cornelius, and two of her sons, Richard and Randall Ammon. Dorothy was born on July 15, 1921 in Fellsburg, PA to Bert & Hazel Larson. Dorothy and her family moved to St. Petersburg in 1957 where she and her husband built, owned and managed Silver Lake Mobile Home Park for 30 years before retiring. Dorothy was a wonderful mother to her four children, Nancy Ammon, Robert Ammon, Richard Ammon and Randall Ammon all of St. Petersburg. She was loved by all and by many known at the "Bell of Fells". Her daughter, Nancy Ammon, her son, Robert Ammon, sister, Nancy Watson of St. Petersburg, and brother Donald Larson of Tennessee and 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren survive her. Dorothy lived for her family and friends and they will all miss her more than words will allow. The soul is the beat of what we are and our soul will take us to the other side.
