I met Donna through her daughter Kimberly. We attended middle school together and when I was introduced I won’t lie I was scared. I’d had a lot of trauma and health issues. So meeting friends parents was always a toss up for me. Donna saw I was nervous. She listened to me explain my issues then just reassured me I’d always have a place with her and her kids. She was very kind. She always made me feel safe at her home. She had a big heart and a beautiful soul.

When she would call in to Allegion for help... we would forget about work and just chit chat... we joked about the cable man... we laughed at about anything. She made my day everytime she called in.. she impacted me so much I was able to text with her off work time and just gossip and make each other laugh. This loss of such a dear sweet and kind spirit is one that will stay with me as her infectious laugh is no longer part of this world.. she will be missed everyday... rest in heaven beautiful soul.. I love you dearly..

I had the blessing of working closely with Donna the last two years, she sat across from me. She always made my days better with her witty humor. We always shared snacks and amazing conversation. My heart aches for her family as I know what light in this world she was. I will miss her and remember her forever.
