Celebrating the Life of Diem Huỳnh
November 21, 1972 – March 6, 2026
With heavy hearts, we remember and celebrate the beautiful life of Diem Huỳnh, who was born on November 21, 1972, in Cai Lay, Vietnam, and passed away on March 6, 2026, in Saint Petersburg after a courageous battle with cancer.
Diem was a deeply kind, empathetic, and hardworking woman whose warmth could be felt by everyone around her. She had a way of bringing light into any room, often laughing or smiling, and her joyful spirit made people feel welcome, comforted, and loved. Her laughter was contagious, and her gentle kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She found happiness in life’s simple but meaningful moments. Cooking brought her great joy, and she loved preparing colorful meals for the people she cared about. She often took photos of the dishes she made, proud of the food that brought family and friends together. She also loved getting dressed up for outings and capturing those moments in pictures, turning ordinary days into memories that her family will cherish forever.
At the center of Diem’s life was her family. She loved her husband Le, her son Johnson, and their beloved cats Jack and Pepper with all her heart. Some of her happiest moments were the quiet, simple ones; going out for coffee together, sharing meals, and enjoying each other’s company. Her family was her greatest joy and the reason behind so much of her strength and love.
Though her time with us feels far too short, the love Diem gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her kindness, her laughter, and the warmth she brought into the world will never be forgotten.
She will be deeply missed every day, but she will always remain a guiding light in the lives of her family and friends.
“Mom, thank you for every sacrifice you made and every moment of love you gave. Thank you for being the best mom ever, I wish I had more time with you. I will carry your love with me for the rest of my life. I miss you so much” - Johnson
