Diane E. Tague's Obituary
Diane E. Tague (née Hancox), 83, passed away on August 24, 2024, in Pinellas Park, Florida. Born on January 21, 1941, in Baldwin, Long Island, New York, Diane dedicated her life to her family and community, touching many with her warmth and generosity.
Diane spent her career in food service for Pinellas County Schools, where she was known for her dedication and caring nature. She brought joy and comfort to many through her wonderful cooking, a skill she often showcased at home as well.
Family was the cornerstone of Diane’s life. She is survived by her children, JoAnn (John) Lersch, Tracey (Mike) Cronkite, Albert (Vikki) Tague, and Eileen (Mike) Crisci; Nine grandchildren, Tommy, Aubrey, Cassey, Toby, Missey, Craig, Nicole, Kelly, and Nathaniel; ten great-grandchildren Kyleigh, Tanner, Jayden, Mason, Madison, Skylar, Remington, Tavin, Avery, and Talia; her sister, Nancy (Edward) Holmes; sister-in-law, Elena Tague; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Florence Hancox; her sister, Marilyn St. George; brother-in-law, William St. George; and nephew, Billy St. George.
An avid Yankees fan and a staple in the audience of General Hospital, Diane also enjoyed connecting with friends and family via Facebook, always ready with a joke and a kind word. Her loyalty and the deep connections she nurtured throughout her life will be remembered by all who knew her.
A service to honor Diane's life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, FL. The family invites all who knew Diane to join in celebrating her remarkable life.
