Dennis Dee Fourqurean Sr.'s Obituary
Dennis Dee Fourqurean, Sr. age 79, passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janet Howard Fourqurean, his wonderful son and best friend, Dennis Dee Fourqurean, Jr., and his daughter-in-law Daphne Lopez Fourqurean.
The lights and loves of his life, his two granddaughters, Samantha Fourqurean Turner and Savannah Dee Fourqurean. Samantha Recently married and he was able to dance at her wedding to new grandson Christopher Turner.
His Granddaughters gave him so many wonderful fun times and memories.
Loving sister, Sandra Fourqurean Gonzalez and husband, Richard Gonzalez. Nephew Richard Gonzalez and family and niece Heather Warren and family.
Also, the caring and supportive sisters and brothers in-laws and their families.
Dennis was an Engineer for Seaboard Coastline Railroad (CSX)for a few years, and then started his own business as a Water Well Contractor for over 55 years.
Dennis Served on the board of Southwest Florida Water Management District Well Drillers Advisory Committee for several years.
Dennis started trapshooting in the early 70's along with his father and son. He was a Life Member of the American Trapshooting Association and was inducted in the Florida Trap shooters Hall of Fame.
In the last few years, he and Dennis Jr. began shooting Sporting Clays. They had so much fun and made many new friends.
As a family, he enjoyed boating and fishing- owning boats of many sizes from bass, sportfishing and last an Air Boat.
Enjoyed nothing better than air boat fishing for Red Fish in the winter in Waccasassa, FL.
Dennis passed after a long battle with Prostate Cancer.
He will be missed by his loving family, many wonderful friends and business associates.
No service now but there will be a Celebration of his Life later.
