Mr. Dennis A. Farlow's Obituary
Dennis Albert Farlow of South Pasadena, Fla. passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Woodside Hospice of Pinellas Park, with his two daughters at his side. He was 67. He was born March 29, 1951 at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oakland, California, to Arlene June (Mathews) Farlow and Albert J. Farlow, Jr. He grew up in Washington, D.C. He attended Woodward Prep School, and was a 1969 graduate from Suitland (Md.) High School. He worked as a United States Capitol police officer from 1972 to 1989, and lived in various cities in Prince George’s County, Md., including Suitland, Oxon Hill and for many years, in Temple Hills. He lived in Fort Garland, Colo., before moving to St. Petersburg in 1998. Dennis was predeceased by his beloved mother, Arlene, also known to her granddaughters and great-grandsons as “Mauma,” and his father, Albert. He is survived by his two daughters, Andria Farlow Davis of St. Pete Beach and Rita Farlow (Jack A. Crooks) of St Petersburg. He is also survived by his two grandsons, Bailey A. Davis and Dylan F. Davis of St. Petersburg, who affectionately called him “Gala.” Dennis was laid to rest on October 23, 2018 in the Brookside Garden Section of Woodlawn Memory Gardens in St. Petersburg, near his mother’s final resting place.
