Dennis Alexander's Obituary
Dennis Alexander, 64, of Clearwater, Florida (formerly Syracuse, New York) passed away unexpectedly after a short battle with lung cancer. Dennis was born in Syracuse and lived there most of his life until moving to Florida two years for sun and fishing. While living in Syracuse, Dennis enjoyed his summers camping on Lake Ontario every weekend. Dennis loved to fish and enjoy the special times with family, friends, and especially his grandchildren, who affectionally called him “Papa.” Dennis loved to collect his blue glass at the flea market and going through coins looking for special ones. He loved all his “furry” friends over the years. Many great memories will always be remembered.
Dennis is preceded in death by his father Elias Alexander; brothers Elias (Junebug) and Gary (Michael) Alexander. Dennis leaves behind his best friend and wife Linda Cappelletti Alexander; mother, Ruthie Alexander; daughter, Lakechia Gray; grandchildren, Hassan, Kashaud, and Timisha; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Diane Alexander and Judy Alexander-Scott; brother Richard Alexander. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends
