Debra K Marx's Obituary
Debra Kay Marx, 67, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025. Born on July 9, 1957, in Butler, Missouri to Elnora and Glen Unruh. Debra married Raimund on December 7, 1993 and celebrated 31 years of marriage together. Debra lived a vibrant life filled with love, faith, strength and devotion to her family.
Debra is survived by her loving husband, Raimund Marx; her cherished daughter, Nicole Buckle; daughter Monika Marx, son Ryan Marx, her mother, Elnora Unruh; her sister, Connie Padillo; and her beloved grandchildren, Gianna, Liam, Felicia, Brooklyn, Michael, Brianna, Sofie and Evan. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Unruh, and her brother, Merlin Unruh.
Throughout her life, Debra was a dedicated professional, serving in various roles including Manager of Acquisitions, Reimbursement Specialist, Accounting Clerk, Courthouse Clerk, and most recently, Vice President and office manager of Raimund Marx Financial. Her work ethic was matched only by her compassion, sharp sense of organization and attention to detail.
Debra had a zest for life and a spirit of adventure. She loved planning vacations and exploring new places. She also acquired a pilot’s license, was a certified scuba diver and grew up riding dirt bikes with her family and friends. She found great joy in scrapbooking and baking—famous among friends and family as the “Graham Cracker Fluff Queen”—and was always up for a shopping trip or a family gathering. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Debra lived her faith as a daughter of Christ, radiating warmth and grace in everything she did.
Debra’s love and light will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy that will endure through her family, grandchildren and all those blessed to have been a part of her life.
