Deborah Sue Aveyard's Obituary
Our beloved Mother, Deborah Sue Aveyard, went home to Jesus on August 22nd, 2025, at age 59.
Deborah was born to Nancy Aveyard and James Aveyard on March 7th, 1966, in Dayton, Ohio. She was the eldest sibling of three, James “Bubba” Aveyard, middle sibling and Angi Aveyard, youngest sibling. At a young age she moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. Here Deborah’s big heart and infectious smile roped in lifelong friendships that she cherished and adored. She fell in love and birthed three amazing children.
She graduated from Central Florida Community College with an associate’s degree in paralegal studies. Deborah was passionate about her career, and her work ethic was unmatched in the field. In true Deborah fashion, she turned her coworkers into friends.
Deborah had a love for living in Old Northeast. You would often find her walking along coffee pot bayou or catching the sunrise or sunset along the seawall. She loved her hometown sports teams including the Rays, Buccaneers, Lightning and Gators. She was a loyal customer to Ferg’s where she would watch as many games as she could. She also loved to golf with her friends. You would never find Deborah without her golf clubs in the back of her car. You would often find her flaunting the most vibrant colored golf pants on the course. She was very proud to complete the Skyway 10k, twice. She loved volunteering for the Children’s Dream Fund and was always the first person to help at any time of need. Above all else, she was a proud Gammie.
She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of many. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the Children's Dream Fund or commit a random act of kindness.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Andrew Aveyard, son, Robert Daniel King, Brother, James Robert Aveyard.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy Darlene Aveyard, Daughter, Danielle Jessica King, Son, Stephen David King, Sister, Angi Lynn Aveyard, Grandchildren, Hanna Marie Storke, Camren Matthew Burden, Ryland Daniel King, Angel Rivera King, Sawyer Lily King, Niece Tristan Lynn Aveyard, and many friends.
