Dean Richard Rotz's Obituary
Dean R Rotz, 83, of Dunedin passed away August 30 with his loving family by his side. He was a long time resident of Palm Beach County and formerly St Petersburg.
Born and raised in Altoona Pa, a US ARMY Signal Corps veteran of the South Pacific Campaign during WWII. He graduated from Penn State Univ. Known as the Candy Man, he worked 34 years for Whitmans Chocolates as the Florida sales representative. Retiring in 1984, he was active member of the Good Shepard United Methodist Church, V.F.W., American Legion, and Moose.
Predeceased by his wife Marian, he is survived by his best friend and companion Dorval "Sparkie" Hale and her family. He was a prudent advisor to his two son's, Bill and wife Linda, and Alan and wife Amie. Grandchildren, Christopher, Katie, Lauren, Alex, and Kennerly, all of Palm Harbor.
