Dear Uncle Michael,
Oh how much I loved my Uncle Dean. Thank you for being his soul mate and embracing our Meyer family and being a part of us.
You were the best thing to happen to him. He loved you dearly and continues to love you from heaven.
There are so many memories I have of my Uncle Dean.-The River with the cousins. Visiting him and Muppet in that special house filled with stories. Reading my sacred cards from him and reading the ones he wrote to Willam and Lucie. My “young “ fun uncle that always made time to sneak away from the grown ups and talk to us. The special nativity scene he made for me that I put out every Christmas and think of him. The wicker purses he gave to my sister Carrie and Cousin Mary Claire and me. I still have mine and find all sorts of uses for it to this day. Learning about his childhood as well as my father’s and Uncle Jimmy’s growing up in a magical time in St.Pete.
He loved me unconditionally and made me feel safe. Thank you Uncle Michael for your beautiful words and making this part of Uncle Dean’s journey meaningful. Uncle Dean left this earth a better place with you by his side.
With a grateful heart,
Your niece -Sarah Lynn
