Davis "Kirk" Adams' Obituary
Davis Kirkman "Kirk" Adams, Treasure Island, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 20, 2021. Kirk was born in Daytona Beach, Florida on Aug. 24, 1979.
Kirk graduated from Seabreeze Senior High School in 1997 where he played varsity golf. He attended Georgia Southern and Santa Barbara City College where he was on the golf team.
He was a lifelong Auburn fan and could be found every Saturday afternoon in the fall yelling “War Eagle” for his beloved Tigers.
Kirk played Texas Hold’em including many events at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He was an avid golfer and a pleasure to have as your partner. He won the City of Aspen Golf Championship in 1995.
Kirk loved working at Florida Strategic Insurance Agency with his amazing coworkers and wonderful clients.
He is survived by his wife, Kara, daughter, Journee and son Jackson. He is also survived by his father, Henry Adams; mother and stepfather, Lynn and Terry LaRue; sister, Brittany Long (JR); nephews Patrick, Syde and Wyatt Long. Also, surviving him are his sister-in-law, Shana Jones; nieces Maliya and Hayden; stepsister, Michelle Bullard (Fred) and children; stepbrother, Steven LaRue; half-sister, Charlotte Adams and Alex. He leaves behind many friends and extended family members.
Kirk was a gentle soul who never met a stranger. We were all very lucky to have had him in our lives.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 28 at 3 pm at the Memorial Park Funeral Home. Masks are requested. The service will also be live streamed. Details can be found on the website.
