David Robert Sauls' Obituary
David Robert Sauls, age 81, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on April 16, 2024. He was born on January 13, 1943, in St. Petersburg, Florida, to Marguerita Gagne and James David Sauls.
David was known for his generosity, kindness, and sense of humor. He was a prayerful man who always extended a helping hand to those in need, whether through monetary assistance or prayers for their souls well-being.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. David is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Sauls, stepson Juan Marrero, daughter-in-law Betsy Marrero, grandsons Ian Marrero and Kevin Marrero, stepson Kervi Marrero, granddaughter Soraya Marrero, and Kervi's significant other, Zoraida Ferrer Rill.
David was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching Western cowboy movies from the 60s and 70s, leading a prayerful life, and reading faith-filled spiritual books like the Hours of the Passion of Christ. A service in memory of David will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Pinellas Park, Florida on Saturday, May 11th at 1pm Florida.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Maria Sauls. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in St. Petersburg. David Robert Sauls will be remembered for his unwavering faith, kind heart, and dedication to his family and community. May he rest in peace.
