David B. Rich's Obituary
David Butler Rich, 69, passed away on June 1, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on November 8, 1955, in Connecticut to Paul and Ellen Rich, David was raised outside Philadelphia alongside his brothers, Steve and John. Known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit from a young age, he began working in his early teens and went on to earn a degree in accounting from Widener University.
David had a successful career in the insurance industry, culminating in the founding of Ensurem, an insurance company launched in 2015. As a leader, he was deeply committed to creating a positive workplace culture and is remembered fondly by his colleagues as a compassionate and visionary boss.
Beyond his professional achievements, David was a devoted husband, father, and stepfather. He is survived by his wife, Lynn, his daughter Rachel, and his stepchildren Sarah, Seth, and Sydney along with his sons-in-law, Robbie and Michael. David will be remembered for his wisdom, kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to his family and those around him.
His Funeral will be held on Saturday, June 7th at Memorial Park Funeral Home at 1pm.
