Danny K Slusher's Obituary
Danny K Slusher passed away on December 28, 2020 in Saint Petersburg Florida. He was born in Bluffton Indiana on May 1, 1946 to Viola(Steffen) and Leo Slusher. Danny grew up in Rome City Indiana where he loved to fish and hunt. From 1964-1968 he proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. Then in September of 1969 he married Dorothy Thomas.
Danny was preceded in death by his parent Vi and Leo, his stepfather Harold Pence, his wife Dorothy Slusher, his brothers Sammy Slusher and Larry Slusher.
He is survived by his son Rodney Slusher(Dyana Aroya), stepdaughter Anita Noland(Tim Noland), grandchildren Tyson Eminger, Bryan Noland, Levi (Slusher)Ellis, Lucas(Slusher) Ellis, great-grand children Kailey Eminger and Dillen Noland.
Danny took pride in providing for his family. Honesty was an important quality that he taught his children and grandchildren. He showed us hos to laugh and enjoy people. His greatest gift was the love he gave us and setting an example of how to love others….he will be greatly missed.
The morning routine was for Danny to go out to Foxy’s, then on to Kenny’s and finally stop was Mama’s Kitchen where he would visit, laugh and solve the world’s problem with friends. Thank you to each place and friend.
