Dannie Joe Evinger's Obituary
Dannie Joe Evinger, 64, of Pinellas Park, FL passed away February 21, 2024. Dan was born on October 21, 1959 in Harrisburg, PA to John and Audrey (Dorwart) Evinger, but has been in the St. Petersburg area since the 60s. Dan graduated from Northeast High School in 1977. He is a veteran of the United States Army where he worked in the radar field and was an expert marksman. His occupation was in facilities maintenance and was the maintenance supervisor at a military contracting company. Dan enjoyed restoring classic cars, attending car shows, was a devoted father and family man, an avid bowler and a talented artist. What he was most proud of was his Grandson Ollie (Papas big boy). Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Evinger; daughters, Kayla Evinger and Courtney Evinger; grandson Oliver Daniel; siblings, John Evinger, Rusty Evinger, Kenny Evinger, Lorraine Evinger, and Barbara Evinger. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 2 at Memorial Park Funeral Homes, 5750, 49th St N, St. Petersburg. Following the service there will be a gathering at War Veterans Memorial park, shelter 4; 9600 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg.
