Daniel Michael Moslek Jr.'s Obituary
Daniel Michael Moslek, Jr. passed away on November 6th, 2024 at the age of 78.
Daniel was born on March 11th, 1946 in Ambridge, Pennsylvania and relocated as a child to St. Petersburg, Florida. He attended Dixie Hollins High School, where he would graduate in 1964. He would go on to attend St. Petersburg College. Daniel began his career at Winn-Dixie, where he would meet his wife, Beverly. He worked his way up in the company where he held various management positions until he retired after 44 years of service.
Daniel was a devoted member of the Catholic Church and a dedicated officer with the Knights of Columbus, Council # 5737. He was a Past Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator, Financial Secretary and held other various positions with the Knights throughout his tenure.
Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, baking and decorating for the holidays. He was also a history enthusiast, specifically WWII and was always quick to provide anyone with a story or random fact on the subject.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Beverly, of 46 years, son Daniel Moslek III, daughter-in-law, Jenn Moslek, daughter, Angela Moslek, son-in-law, Todd Ward and three grandchildren, Baylee, Jackson and Imagin. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Don Nikolas and many nieces and nephews. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Moslek, Sr and Ida (Aversa) Moslek as well as his sister, Teresa Winiecki.
A viewing will take place on Thursday, November 21st, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm at the Memorial Park Funeral home, located at 5750 49th Street North ~ St. Petersburg, Florida 33709.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 at 11am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located at 7809 46th Way North ~ Pinellas Park, Florida 33781.
Reception to follow at the Fr. Lopez Knights of Columbus Hall: 7177 58th Street North ~ Pinellas Park, Florida 33781.
