Daniel Luke passed away on April 16,2020. He was born on May 24, 1939
in Newark,NJ . He grew up in the city of Rutherford,NJ.
He married Roseann DeSanto on October 13, 1962. The couple lived in Lyndhurst,NJ from 1962 until 1963. In 1963,they moved to Garfield NJ where they resided until 1998. In 1998 ,they moved to St Petersburg, Fl where they have resided for the past 22 years.
Daniel was employed by Shop Rite supermarkets from 1960 to 1963.From 1963 to 1998 ,he worked for Foodtown Supermarkets. In 1998, he began work
At the Kash N Karry supermarket in South Pasadena,Fl and remained there until he retired in 2003.
His hobbies included baseball, softball and bowling. He played little league as a child and softball as an adult. He belonged to bowling leagues and earned rings for bowling 300 games.
He is survived by his wife Roseann (DeSanto)Luke,his daughter Dana Luke-Tassiello ,his son -in -law Nick Tassiello and his granddaughter Nicole Danielle Tassiello .
A private family service will be held at the Memorial Park Funeral Home in St Petersburg, Fl on April 22
