D. Ocille Brooks' Obituary
Brooks, D. Ocille, 78, passed away Sept. 18. She was a native of Cottondale, FL where she moved from to this area in 1934. She was a retired social service worker with Pinellas County after 20 years and a former employee with the Barracuda Fishing Tackle Co. She was a member of the Allendale United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as worthy matron, and The Daughters of the Nile. She loved reading and shopping. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Samuel; her daughter, Annice Halle of St. Petersburg; two sons, Ben Brooks of St. Petersburg and Sam Jr. of Ocala; Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
