Cynthia "Cindy" A. Fish's Obituary
Fish, Cynthia A. "Cindy", 74, Pinellas Park, FL, transferred to the church in Heaven on her birthday, June 16, 2026. Besides her cat, Tater, Cindy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joe; son, Stephen (Niki); daughter, Laurie (Chris); and grandchildren, Katelynn Christine, Abigail Grace, Gwendolyn Faith, and Jason Ryan.
Cindy's career included banking, teaching, and children's coordinator at Christ Church. During her career as children's coordinator, she grew the children's department to 75+ children between Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, and summer camp. This Catholic girl was one of the best Methodist workers we had. Our family is finding comfort knowing that she is already in the arms of Jesus.
Cindy's sweet nature was evident in her willingness to serve anyone at any time. In fact, as an organ donor, her donated corneas enabled two people to see. Cindy and Joe made their home in the Mainlands, a community where Cindy made her mark as Vice President of the Women's Club, and other volunteer positions.
Visitation will be from 9-10 am on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Christ United Methodist Church, 467 First Ave. North, St. Petersburg with the Celebration of Life at 10 am; a reception will follow in the Asbury Room. Interment will be 10 am, Monday, June 29, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th Street North in St. Petersburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Church in her name.
