Ponder, Curtis Adam "Sammy", 36, of St Petersburg, Fl. found peace and eternal rest on Sunday 2/20/2011. He was born in Springfield, Il and moved to St Petersburg in 1993. He graduated from Nina Harris Class of 1995 and worked for PARC. He was an honorary member of V.F.W. Post 4256 and attended St Mark Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his uncles Ernest, Leroy and Donald Ponder. He is survived by his parents Elza and Betty Ponder, brothers Daryl (Cynthia) Springfield, Il., Scot (Elvira) Las Vegas, NV., and Mark (Mary) Charlotte, N.C., sister Vicki (William) Thompson Springfield, Il. and uncles William R. (Geneva) and James (Elsie) Ponder.
