Mrs. Corinne B. "Connie" Muia's Obituary
Muia, Corinne "Connie", 81, born in New York City, NY on December 28, 1929, passed away on Jan. 30, 2011. She met and became an apprentice in a dental laboratory owned by her future husband, Paul. They eventually married and spent 40 happy years together. Along with being an excellent housewife, she excelled in many art forms. Besides having a large wardrobe full of clothes, including dresses, blouses, slacks, vests and other wearables that she created by hand, she loved working with wood, ceramics, paintings and even welding. She furnished both their homes, their permanent home in St. Petersburg and their vacation home in Georgia with handcrafted benches, tables, lamps, plaques, drapes and paintings. To cherish her memory are her husband Paul and Eric Loeb, the father of her two daughters: Susan (Saira) Loeb Morgan and her life partner Douglas Richard Morgan along with their son George Ian Morgan, and Lori (Theresa) Ellis and her children, Kaeli and Matthew Ellis and their father Dr. Thomas Ellis; her two brothers-in-law: Francis Muia, wife Iris and their two children Darlene Kroon, husband Brent and Alan Muia, wife Amy and son Denny and Chuck Muia, wife Joann(deceased) and daughter Pamela. A visitation will be held from 11am until service time at 12pm on Friday, Feb. 4th at Memorial Park Funeral Home: 527-1196.
