Colin Willis Skaggs' Obituary
Colin Willis Skaggs grew up in St. Petersburg. As a young man he played a lot of sports from Youth Soccer to Little League Baseball. He had great eye hand coordination and his parents often found him on their backyard trampoline doing flips and other tricks. He juggled and entertained us all. We were not surprised when one day he showed up on a unicycle. Good for a Florida boy he also loved to swim. This young man loved to have fun.
His passion was painting and drawing. He was a true artist. He was fortunate in this area and sold some of his artwork locally. This ability and art sensibility continued to grow as he matured. Later he put his art vision and use of color into tattoos.
He went to Southside Fundamental School and graduated from Northeast High School. After school he did some odd jobs but finally settled in at Publix Grocery Stores as a Team Leader. He was there for several years and was employed by them until his death. Colin had a love, desire, and appreciation for Craft Beers and briefly was a Bartender at Brewer’s Tasting Room.
There were many hobbies he and Brittney indulged in including indoor climbing. Yes he loved to have fun.
He was a devoted young man to Brittney, his family, his friends and his cats, Rufus and company.
We lost this young man way too soon. He is survived by his wife, Brittney Skaggs, his Father Roger Skaggs, his Mother Margaret Skaggs and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
