Clifford A. Braisted's Obituary
Clifford A. Braisted, 90, of Clearwater passed away Monday, August 10, 2020.
Mr. Braisted was born September 25, 1929 in Staten Island, New York. He was a retired Fire Fighter who worked for the New York City Fire Department for over 20 years. Mr. Braisted loved camping, fishing and anything outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Emma Braisted; son, Timothy Braisted; daughter-in-law, Barbara Braisted; grandchildren, Emma and Timothy Jr.; parents, Walter and Mary Vorek Braisted and several brothers and sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Clifford Braisted (Susan), Sandra Lee (John), Carol Dondero (Louis), Cynthia Christiano (William), Emma Relay (Michael), Janice Mastromarimo (John Cole) and Eileen Leili (Frank); 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held with burial in Staten Island, New York.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, St. Petersburg is in charge of arrangements.
