Clem Costas' Obituary
Clem Costas, 81, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his children on February 18th, 2023. Clem was born November 3, 1941 in Warren, Ohio, to his beloved parents James and Anna Costas. He was a lifelong and dedicated employee at Cold Metal Products of Youngstown, Ohio. Above all, he dedicated his life to the care of his wife and family. This was his proudest accomplishment. He loved all sports and was an avid golfer, but most of all, he was a true Buckeye.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his oldest brother Gus Costas, and the love of his life, his wife Yvonne. He is survived by his brother, William Costas, and his sister Stella Raphtis, both of Florida. He is also survived by his adoring children Anthony Costas (Maggie Minnicks) of Florida and Helene DiFrangia (John DiFrangia) of Ohio. Lastly, he is survived by his admiring grandchildren Avel, Richard, Anthony, Helene, John and Carlo, all of whom are grateful for the memories and lessons he’s left behind.
In this great time of sorrow we are thankful to all the friends and neighbors for their sympathy, kindness and love shown towards us and our father. Words cannot express the loss we feel.
