To my husband Lee, I remember the first time we met 9 years ago and our beautiful wedding outside in paradise. I will always remember your soft touch, gentle ways, you opinion about everything, stories of you growing up in Waycross, Boy Scout stories and Camp Osborn, tidbits of information that I wondered why I needed to know whatever it was you were telling me, the trips to the mountains for our honeymoon and birthday trips and cruises exploring other countries for your 66th birthday and several Red Hat cruises. You were a real sport on those even dawning a red sequin ball cap on one of them. On the day God called you home on angel wings, I'm sure your wings were ready, but my heart was not. I think of you every day remembering something you did or said and smile, or cry or both. We were supposed to spend the rest of our lives together, now I realize you spent the rest of your life with me. I am so glad I was the last face you saw. I was so shocked at how quickly your were gone, here one minute and literally gone the next. I love you to the moon and back or l-----this much-----l (arms outstretched) as you used to say. I know you are watching over me with mom & Sharon from heaven. Until we meet in heaven....I miss you and will always love you...
