Claraette M. Croucher's Obituary
Claraette "CiCi" Croucher passed away peacefully on June 6, 2016. Born in Connersville, Indiana June 21, 1928. She moved to Treasure Island, FL in 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Merrill Croucher, her parents, 2 brothers and 5 younger sisters. She leaves behind 4 younger sisters, Carol Bartlett of Oxnard, CA, Nancy Rambo and Patricia Kelsch both of Connersville, IN and Kaye Ferguson of St Petersburg, FL. She also leaves her loving children Dianna Giffin, Catherine Stock and husband John, and Nancy Croucher all of St Petersburg, FL, Charles, Gregory, Mark, John and wife Brenda, Edward and Michael Croucher all from the Charlestown, IN area. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren Michelle, Sarrah, Andrea, Rebecca, Mark, Michael, Anna and Polly along with her beloved great-grandchildren Andrew, Lexi, Lailani, Jacob, Noah, Blaise and Deja.
After 25 years of being an attentive mother and housewife, CiCi went to work in her husband's business for several years as a secretary. She then moved on to being the cook and kitchen manager of the Wheel Restaurant in Sellersburg, IN. She was known for her fabulous cooking and especially for her famous potato soup.
Claraette was a faithful member of Our Lady of Good Hope Old Roman Catholic Church of St Petersburg.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday June 9th from 9am-10am. Funeral Ceremony will be at 10am with a reception to follow from 11am-1230pm.
Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with Merrill
on 6/23/2016 at 11:30 am.  Family and friends are invited to attend this service.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation in CiCi's name be made to the Alzheimer's Association. www.alz.org
