Clara Christine Sprung's Obituary
Clara Christine (Siewert) Sprung, age 96, died peacefully at her home in St. Petersburg, FL on November 23, 2022.
Born to William E. & Emma H. (Bluemel) Siewert on May 10, 1926, in Macomb Township, MI as the eighth of ten children.
She married Kenneth E. Sprung on December 25, 1947. She was a homemaker as well as an administrative assistant for most of her working career.
She had many hobbies over the years including square dancing, cake decorating, and sewing. Her favorites were singing, crossword puzzles, reading, and playing Euchre. Clara was also a founding member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Shelby Township, MI, singing in their choir for many years.
Clara is survived by her five daughters: Lynette (Robert) Toney of Stanwood, MI; Annette Powell of St. Petersburg, FL; Kristine (John) Reno of Brier, WA; Janet (Randy) Parrott of Harrisville, MI; Connie (Scott) Rhodes also of St. Petersburg, FL as well as her daughter-in-law Julie (Edward) LoSasso of Melbourne, FL, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Clara is preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings, as well as her husband Kenneth E. Sprung, son Kenneth S. Sprung, son-in-law John Hefferon, grandson Michael Armstrong, and great-granddaughter Ellory Martin.
There will be a private family memorial service for Clara held at a later date, in Michigan.
