Claire H Tettemer's Obituary
Tettemer, Claire H., 88, of Seminole, formally of Orlando where she resided for 34 years went home t be with the Lord Friday, December 23, 2011. She was born in Millport, Alabama. She graduated in 1944 from Montevallo College and Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where she received her master's degree. She worked as a teacher for over 30 years in numerous states and retired in 1983 from the Polk County School System. She traveled through all fifty states camping throughout most. She was a member of N.W. Presbyterian Church in St Petersburg. She loved to play the organ and sing in church. She is survived by her husband William A Tettemer, Sr. of 39 years, daughters Jane Schramek (John) of Seminole, Fl, Joyce Cassidy (John) of Colorado, sons Royal Brown III (Diane) Winter Haven, Fl., William A Tettemer Jr., (Janet) Kissimmee, Fl, brother John B Hodo (Gloria) Birmingham, Al., 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army, S.P.C.A. or Suncoast Hospice. A memorial service will be schedule for a future date.
