Christopher James Wilkins' Obituary
Wilkins, Christopher James, 97, of Pinellas Park, passed away March 15, 2017. He was born October 13, 1919 in Weymouth, MA to parents Florence Blewett and James Wilkins. Christopher served in the US Army Tank Corp in Germany during WWII and attained the rank of Sergeant. After the war, he married Marian Louise Parkes in 1946. He retired from Florida Power Corporation, working in the underground transmission department. With 32 years of service, he retired to pursue his hobbies of gardening. He was also an avid ham radio operator. He loved to tinker in his work shop. Christopher was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Louise and son William Alan Wilkins. He leaves behind a daughter, Linda and son-in-law, Bob; his grandsons Jon and Michael will dearly miss him. Leana, his great-granddaughter was his pride and joy; his daughter-in-law Mary Wilkins and nieces and nephews.
