In Loving Memory of Christopher Wayne Sala, Sr.
Born on 4/04/1958 in Norwalk Connecticut. He went to be with our Lord on 7/20/20 suddenly. He came to Saint Petersburg Florida in 1967 with his parents and siblings. He started working in irrigation and gardening business when he was a teenager working at Congo Chris and Sunken Gardens in Saint Petersburg Florida. Eventually he moved to the beautiful Homosassa Springs and created his own business CC Rainforest Irrigation for the past 40 years. He was very well known for his expertise and his love of irrigation with his favorite slogan being “Keeping It Green” He was very much loved by his entire family and many friends. He is predeceased by his father Chester Sala Jr and his nephew Jeremy. Survivors include his loving wife Dione Biley Sala and their son Zachary Sala and his oldest son from a previous marriage Chris Sala Jr.,and Jr’s mother Billie Anne Sala and stepfather to Melisa and William Pyke. He leaves behind his entire heart broken family, his mother Mary Irving Sala, brothers Leonard and Chet Sala III and his sister Mona, and one grandson Cason Sala. He also leaves behind his Aunts and many cousins, nephews and nieces that he loved very much. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial immediately following. A Celebration of his Life with family will be at a sunset service announced at a time and date in the near future, due to the Covid concerns and protocols at this time. He was our Gentle Giant and he will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace now Brother. We will see you again on the other side of Eternity.
