Charlotte Louise Schramer's Obituary
SCHRAMER, Charlotte Louise, 87 , of St. Petersburg, FL passed away April 1, 2023. She was born on August 31, 1935 in Townsend, TN to Luther Earl and Ruth Elizabeth (McMahan) Walker. She was preceded in death by her first spouse, Daniel F. Schramer in 1998 and her second spouse, Lawrence Shaw in 2022. Survivors include her daughters, Kathleen (David) Krant, Sharon (Robert) Samuelson, Donna Schramer, and Dianne Dion; brother, Martin Walker; grandchildren, Ryan Hettinger, Melissa Walter, Nicole Samuelson, Daniel Samuelson, and Hannah Krant; and great grandchildren, Addison, Ethan, Quinn, and Harper. She owned and operated Dan’s TVs and Electronics with her husband in Aurora, IL before retiring to Florida in 1992. She loved deep red roses and her husband, Dan, often referred to her as the ‘Rose Queen of Tierra Verde.’ A huge Buccaneers fan, she also enjoyed swimming, wine, the beaches and she had a special love for Blue Herons. A funeral will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, April 6 at Memorial Park Funeral home, 5750 49th St N, St. Petersburg followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation (AMDF - Saving Sight Through Research and Education (macular.org))
