Volpe, Charles J., 91, St. Petersburg, died Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Originally from Staten Island, NY, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1958. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer after serving 23 years in the US Coast Guard. He was a bank auditor for 19 years with 3 local banks, then a real estate agent for 10 years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and served as past Treasurer for the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by wife, F. Virginia Volpe, daughter Irene Rausch, sister Virginia Palladino, grandchildren Julie, John and James Rausch, Bryan Wright, Kim Reynolds, great grandchildren Anthony Wright, Noah and Avery Reynolds and great great grandchild Christopher Wright.
