Charles Thomas, 64 (BIG CHARLES)
June 17, 1950 - December 15, 2014
was originally from Pearson Georgia and resided in Tarpon Springs, Florida
Charles married Mary Rose Jackson on June 27, 1970, they became a family of six. In later years, two more children blessed their union, completing their family of eight.
Charles was a self taught Chef at the well known Greek restaurant, Herme's. Charles became a truck and tractor crane operator and drum loader for the Stauffer Chemical Company until their doors closed for business. Charles then became a Farmer of Livestock. Charles was later employed by a local Construction Company and eventually managed his own crew until he retired.
Charles coached, refereed and umpired for the City of Tarpon Springs Sports League. Charles was a naturally gifted Bowler, which was acknowledged when he was selected to be a contestant on the original 1960's T.V. show, Bowling for Dollars.
There was no limit to his abilities, he was a Master at the "Pit"(Barbecue), Fishing, Gardening and Golf.

Charles leaves behind his wife of forty-four years, Mary Rose Thomas; his girls, Cassandra(Barry)Kiery, Arlene Murray-Collins(who preceded him in death), Paula Jackson, Alfreda(Edward)Hunt, Mae(David)Schaer and "baby girl" Roberta Thomas; his living brothers, Arthur(Altamese) Thomas, Joseph(Deborah)Roberts, Frederick(Anita)Roberts; his living sisters, Gloria Morgan, Magaline Williams(Dwight McGaughy); his uncle Roy(Akron,Ohio); his aunts,Peggy(Indiana),Betty(Chicago,Illinois) his grandchildren, Marco, Emanuel,Tiffany,Tabitha,Taylor, Morgan, Delaney, Travelle (T.J.),Ethan, Camari and his eight great grandkids; his special boys(nephews) that were very dear to him, Arthur Lee(Poppa),BJ, Brandon, Blake and Danny Williams and a host of nieces, other nephews, cousins, relatives by marriage, extended family members and friends.
