Royce, Charles Milton's Obituary
Charles Milton Royce III "Chuck" passed away unexpectedly at the age of 44 on July 16th in Tampa, Florida. He was born on February 2nd, 1981, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Chuck spent the first nine years of his life in Massachusetts before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1990.
He worked in the cable industry for 25 years, working his way into management and leadership roles. Chuck was a hardworking, outspoken, strong, and confident man who never let a moment go dull. He fought for everything he wanted in life, especially for his family. Though he was devoted to his career, his greatest joy was being a father. He loved building computers, playing video games with his kids, building Legos and watching football as he was a big Buc's fan. He always had a childlike heart.
Chuck will be remembered most for the love he had for his children, his strength during hard times, and the laughter he brought to every room he entered.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jamie; his children Serena (Weston), Adrian, Mariah, and Mason; his mother, Ellen “Mema”; and his oldest brother, Chris. He is also survived by his in-laws: John and his wife Carmella and their children Nick and Bella; Sandra and her children Derek (Rosie) and Alora and her son Jaxson; Joseph; and Stacy and her son Brandon. Chuck was a beloved brother-in-law and uncle, and he cherished the time spent with his extended family.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4)
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held on August 2, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
