Charles H. High's Obituary
High, Charles H., 89, of Iverness, joined his loving wife Alda in Heaven on December 30, 2010. Charles was born in Charleston, W.V. He moved his family to St. Petersburg, Fl. in 1956 where he had a long career with WFLA TV/Radio as National Sales Manager. Charles moved to Lake Mary, Fl. in 1998 then to Inverness, Fl. in 2009. Charles was a proud veteran of the USAF, a proud 65 year member of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Florida. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Sanford, Fl. and active in the Lions Club of St. Petersburg, Fl. Charles is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Susan and Bernard Sowell of Inverness, Fl.; son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Marcia High of Heathrow, Fl.; daughter and son-in-law Janie and Bruce Bozelka of Sanford, Fl.; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held 10AM with the service following at 11:30AM on Friday, January 7, 2010. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice.
