I met Charley when he was crawling out of his bedroom window on Rams Road in Havelock, NC. He went from a terrible teen to my best friend and son, always there to help me no matter what. A huge heart, a wonderful father, a terrific son...I will always think of the good times we had, you will be missed.

Oh Charlie....you were such a cutie blonde curly hair and bright big blue eyes! 1st grandsons to be born like that, I feel in love!! Chris and I loved you very much. Those family gatherings at MeMes and Papa's house were so much fun! Kinda like the circus came to Havelock..ha ha Those teen years were trying but you made it!
You caught Chris and I before my prom and wanted to be in the picture. We took you out and about with us when you were litlle. We loved you like our own! Kinda like the boy we would never have of our own...
