Charles "Chuck" Michael Filby's Obituary
Charles "Chuck" Michael Filby, 74, of Pinellas Park, Florida passed away on November 30, 2023. Born on August 5, 1949 in Lampasas, Texas to his parents Robert and Aileen Filby, Chuck was first and foremost a family man, and a man who lived for his grandchildren. Chuck was also known widely as a proud Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War, a sergeant and helicopter crew chief. He was an example of a true patriot and was proud of his service to our country. Chuck also loved to be out doors and was fond of camping, but could always be found near the water whether it be a lake, a river, the ocean, or even a swimming pool. He loved the beach and was a massive Beach Boys fan.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Aileen, and his brother Richard Filby. He is survived by his son Timothy "Tim" Filby, his daughter Terissa "Trish" (Charlie) Callahan; his grandchildren Chaz Callahan, Mackenzie Callahan, Colby Callahan, and Emma Callahan; and sisters Elaine Stout and Linda Wyllie.
Chuck will be dearly missed and always remembered by those who love him.
