Charles Gene Culpepper's Obituary
Culpepper, Charles Gene, age 81, of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 in St Petersburg, FL. He was born on July 16, 1932 in Little River, TX to his parents, Johnny and Gertrude Culpepper. Charles was the oldest of three children. He married Mrs. Wanda Lou Culpepper in Dallas, Texas on Aug. 16, 1951. They had three children. He attended Forrest Avenue High School in Dallas, Texas. He enlisted in the Navy after graduating and served for 21 years in the submarine fleet. He was a long-time resident of Brandon, FL. Charles was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Brandon. Charles will be remembered by his loving wife Wanda and their children: Janice L Brantley, Donald D. Culpepper and Charles G. Culpepper Jr and their spouses. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Rickey, Chris and Sarah Brantley; Katelyn and Cory Culpepper. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Services were held on Dec. 4th at Memorial Park Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, FL.
