Barker, Charles H., 90, of St. Petersburg died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Harbour Wood Nursing Center. Born in New York City, he moved here in 1943 from Georgetown, CT., and was a retired pest control technician. He was an Army veteran of WWII and an avid gardener. Survivors include a son, Wayne of Clearwater; daughter, Linda McRay of St. Petersburg; 3 grandchildren, Robin Sloper, Pinellas Park, Melissa Barker, Clearwater and Michael Barker, Dallas, TX and a great-grandson, Andrew Sloper of Pinellas Park. The family requests memorials to The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast
