Mrs. Celina Paez's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and beloved wife Celina Paez. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Ramon, her children Diana, Jeanette, Harold and her daughter-in-laws, Adrienne Paez and Mary Foody and her grandchildren, Anthony, Michael, Gabriel and Sabrina. Our mother was an angel on earth and her passing has greatly impacted everyone's life for we lost a perfect diamond when she was called back to God. Celina's kindness knew no boundaries and she was loved by everyone.
How does one begin to tell the story of a lifetime? A story of so many lives touched and special moments that form a kaleidoscope of images, at times beautiful, happy, sad, funny and always unique to the story of our mother. Mommy was a keeper of secrets; she knew how to make happiness out of misfortune she knew how to make wounds heal with less pain she knew how to tell us about life and the way it unfolds with fantastic stories. There is mommy traveling around the world to Colombia, to Curacao, to Spain, to Canada or on a special trip just to say hello, I've missed you and I love you. There is mommy going away on a cruise trip, she loved to go on cruises. And mommy tending to tomatoes in the garden, she loved her gardens, filled with greens and roses which were her favorite. Everything bloomed larger and sweeter in mommy's gardens. There is mommy enjoying her time with her grand kids Anthony and Michael and Gabriel and Sabrina, and her image, shining in their eyes and Dad standing proud next to her kids in a smile that lasts forever. Her story was the story of family of sharing, caring, of being our gentle guide to secrets which reveal themselves daily in the acts of kindness and joy that we can still remember and view at will in the quiet recesses of our mind. She will always be to us the best mother, wife, friend and sister.
